01/01/2009

Application: Municipal water supply

Vogel Pumpen is giving nature a hand on the Word Cup ski slopes of Sölden in Austria. The ski resort has been one of the Tyrol’s most popular since 1922, and Vogel has a successful history here, supplying the very first multistage pumps for snowmaking in the area back in 1996.

The slopes are once again open for the World Cup season this year. Now seventeen Vogel pumps are working to guarantee snow on more than 100km of slopes from November through to May in the high Alpine location and two glacier ski areas of Rettenbach and Tiefenbach.
